Ear Wax Removal

Ear wax build up is often a common culprit for hearing loss issues, ear wax blocks up the ear canal and can result in pain, earache, tinnitus or vertigo. At Lisburn Hearing Centre, we can check for ear wax blockages and provide safe ear wax removal services.

We provide two different types of ear wax removal services if needed - micro suction or irrigation. Micro suction uses a small suction tube to remove blockages whilst irrigation uses water in a syringe to break up ear wax that has built up. Both of these methods are performed by our highly skilled staff and audiologists with client’s safety and comfort in mind.

We are pleased to support the local NHS and Doctors by offering A FREE 2 MINUTE EAR WAX CHECK to the local community. This means that it save’s Doctors appointment times and client time and can direct people quickly to find a solution to their hearing loss. Often, it’s not Ear Wax and a direct referral to the Doctor is what’s needed.

We understand that finding the right hearing aid is not a ‘one size fits all approach’ and we will help you select a hearing aid that suits your specification, budget and hearing needs. We now offer a New service where we assess your hearing offer advice and solutions, style technology and cost. This is now a chargeable service however if hearing aids are then purchased we will discount the cost of the hearing aids by the cost of the assessment. Why we do this is because our client receives a clear assessment with no sales pressure and as a business that wants to be there in the future for our clients, then we are paid for our time and professional services.

At the Lisburn Hearing Centre, we offer a free hearing aid cleaning service to our clients Servicing your hearing aids regularly is an important part of maintenance and we recommend that you seek servicing for your hearing aids at least once a year. We operate an OPEN-DOOR service so if needed you don’t have to wait for an annual check just call us and we will arrange an appointment to see you.
